Chocolate & Raspberry Cake

Scrumptious chocolate cake with four layers of moist and rich chocolate sponge. Filled with a combination of homemade raspberry jam/fresh raspberries and our signature cream cheese chocolate frosting. 
We use Belgian chocolate in our frosting to ensure a silky finish and a delicious taste. No leftovers guaranteed!

6" cake: about 12 portions
8" cake: about 16 portions

Ingredients:
Flour, sugar, 54% dark Belgian chocolate, butter, buttermilk, free-range eggs, pure corn oil, cream cheese, espresso coffee, cocoa powder, raspberries, red current,  salt, baking powder, baking soda, icing sugar, thyme and rosemary for decoration.

Contains Wheat (Gluten), dairy, eggs & coffee.
Please note: May contain traces of nuts soya and peanuts.

Storage instructions:
Keep refrigerated and consume within 3 days.

Serving suggestions & cutting the cake:
For maximum flavour and a soft, moist texture we recommend removing the cake from the fridge about 30 minutes before serving.

Ganache may stick to the knife when slicing the cake. To ensure neat slices, simply dip the knife in a jug of hot water then wipe with a clean kitchen cloth regularly.  

Try using a palette knife to remove cake slices off the cake board.
